Northeast community

The Northeast community is east of Fall Creek and the Indiana State Fairgrounds. It is where residents of Oxford, Keystone-Millersville and Arlington Woods neighborhoods call home.

This community is home to the Marion County Public Health Department and George Washington Park, the former home of the Washington Park Children’s Zoo.

Meet community partner Alma Trawick

Meet Alma Trawick, President of the Keystone Millersville Neighborhood Association and one of the community partners that FSPH and Eli Lilly have teamed up with for the Diabetes Impact Project. Their goal is to improve the opportunities for health in this key Indianapolis community by addressing its high incidence of diabetes.
